Ready to enter your original masterpiece?

We can't wait to see your gorgeous creation! Here are the steps:

Read the terms and conditions of our competition.

We are looking for artworks of any 'flat' medium - painting, drawing, flat collage, photo or digital art. Please do not submit images of sculpture, craft, pottery or any other three-dimensional art unless you are wanting the photograph to be judged as the artwork.

We cannot accept any image that includes any logos, or reference to any brand, licensed character or image e.g. a character from a movie, book, cartoon, comic, TV show, except Spencil's logos and other images.

Take the best possible image of the artwork

If not already digital, take a photo or scan of your creation. If you're taking a photo, to get the best image, place your artwork on a flat surface e.g. the floor and hold your camera straight over the image. Line the edges of the artwork up evenly to the frame of your camera. If you can, crop the photo to the edges of your artwork.

Save your image as a .png or .jpg file so it can be viewed at its best in the gallery. PDF or video cannot be accepted.

Complete the entry form

Fill in all your details and check your email and phone number is correct so we can get in touch quickly if you win!

Upload your artwork. Include a description or story of your artwork so we and others can learn more about it.

Share your work hanging in the gallery!

Once you've submitted your entry, wait for an email from us to let you know when your artwork has been approved and hung in the gallery.

Once it is there, share your very own gallery space with your family and friends using the sharing links so they can celebrate your achievement and share and comment on your artwork as well.
